Does the spot price for silver mean per ounce? Say if the spot price is 10.40 does that mean per ounce? - spot price of silver

Time to buy silver bars and try to pretend that it is not worth much. Thank you for all information on the Uruguay Round.

Yes and no. It's an ounce, troy ounce, but normal is different than an ounce. Go figure.

An ounce is 32.15 grams could (may be wrong, I'm working from memory - the 32.14 grams of the truth, I do not know).

Note, however, that the offer price of money is always on the scrap value. Ingots and bars will have a premium over the price, and if the bar is rare or collector, the premium can be substantial. You have to do a lot of individual research.

The coins will have left the price of scrap, but usually some numismatic value as well. This is an area where you really need to research hard and invest cautiously. This is not really a place for true beginners.
